After several days of camping in the Adirondacks, I finally woke up early enough to catch some early morning light. In the wee hours of the morning, as the sun still hung well below the horizon, I captured a handful of handheld images around camp. The still waters and cloudless sky made for a beautiful gradient while the light kissed off nearby foliage and canoe.

Honestly I love this photo. It's simple, and perhaps not technically perfect, but it's so evocative.
