While during the normal hours of operation the Vatican does not allow photos to be taken in the Sistine Chapel, but we had the opportunity to do an early morning tour of the museums which included photo access to the Chapel itself.

Actually, there is no time of day you are allowed to take photos inside the sistine chapel, so not sure how you manages this.
