Washington DC. A day trip to the nations Capital. This was take from the national museum cross to the Capital building. I feel it has a nice balance to it. www.mykallea.com

I wish the shadows/dark lower left of the image was a little brighter. I want to see the details a little more.

I think there are aspects of this that really work for me, and aspects that don't as much. I think the architectural elements of the composition are very strong--both for the building in the foreground and the Capitol Building in the background. Interesting subject, clean lines. I don't think the open sky at the top left bothers me much either. Unfortunately, the trees at the lower left just feel chaotic and take away a lot for me. Definitely nothing you can do about that (maybe in the summer when they're full of leaves it wouldn't feel as scraggly and unkempt? You might lose some of the Capitol Building though.). I don't think the tree on the right adds anything for me either, and I might crop past it or recompose slightly if you went back.
