Hirschorn: D.C. 2019, Ricoh Griii
I happened to swing by this exhibit on my way home from work. My camera was about to die, and along came three kids. Their laughter echoed in the room and then just at this moment the room went silent when they realized something more. I took the photo and my camera died immediately after. To this day it’s one of my luckiest photos.

Congratulations to the winners!
Ron Mueck, the sculptor of this piece makes these incredibly lifelike sculptures with one exception, their size. They're either larger, as in this case, or smaller than reality. I saw this one as part of an exhibit at the Modern in Fort Worth. This guy looks so real, you're afraid to get too close, even though he's 2-3 times the size of a real person. These kids should be terrified.
They were! It was quite hilarious to watch.
