Putting Mike Kelley's WAMA course into practice, I had planned to photograph a nearby building this sunrise, but when I saw the mist here I knew that I had to get this composition, I waited for the Sun to sufficiently rise above the trees so that the Hall was well lit.
Luckily this unplanned practice shoot has paid off as this property is up for sale and the realtor has purchased a usage license for this as well as all of my other images from here.
I also feel lucky in that it is probably the most difficult piece of processing I have done with several failed attempts, 6 pane pano, each pane is 3 bracketed shots. Getting intensities to match across the panes was a big challenge, a lot of manual blending of exposures. The sky was clear this morning so it is a sky replacement with one of Mike's.
