My first trip to Jekyll Island Ga.in June 2015 after learning in January my new A7S was the best camera for Astro Milky Ways and only the new Photo Pills website had info on how to do Milky Ways that was the old 500 rule. Many do not know that far back or not old enough to know but it was a world of magazines not the WWW so research took awhile. Many ways but this was done bracketed 3 at +/- 1EV and not knowing camera NR is off when 1 sec or more is done. Yes full of dead and hot pixels on each image BUT using today Lrc HDR the blended captures rid the bad pixels. Pin point stars using the old E 10-18mm (15-27mm) F4 OSS in full frame at 12mm and 30 sec.
