As I drove up the mountain to get to this vista point, hail was pounding down on my car. It was so loud, but I began to see pockets of light break through the clouds. As I arrived to park, the hail stopped. I was so excited as this was my first destination during my 12-day cross country venture. I got out of the car and grabbed my gear. I felt that I had little time and put together my equipment fast. Across the lot, someone yelled out, hey look at that rainbow! I looked up and couldn't believe how beautiful it was. The clock was ticking. I ran over and shot for about 30 minutes handheld. I used my Fuji X-T5, 50-140 XF Telephoto 2.8. This was one of the first photos I took, and I always go back to it as one of my favs.

Great landscape with a not often rain cloud and the rainbow with capture.
