I took this photo 11 years ago (2014), with my recently buyed first DSLR camera: Canon T3i, an entry level camera. The lens is a 55-250mm IS, which I still own, as I cannot afford more expensive gear.
I took this photo during a bird watching day at a farm at Buenos Aires province, Argentina. Although the camera was very basic and I was a begginer at that time, I am happy with the result as I find this photo pretty decent, of course far from perfect. Today, with a better equipment, I think I would set the parameters differently to freeze the image (higher ISO without much noise, higher shutter speed). A better lens would allow me for a better focus tracking as well.
I now own a Canon 80D, which is not a huge step forward, but as an amateur photographer I find it suitable for most of the photos I take. It has now become an old equipment, but it is hard for me to buy a better one.

Camera parameters: 250mm, 1/320s, f/8, ISO=100
