2 - "Needs Work"

This image was taken in February 2012 at Bandhavgarh National Park, India. I was on an afternoon safari in the Park when I spotted this Indian Jackal in a grassy patch . The afternoon light falling at the animal from behind was accentuating its golden coat and body details making it a good snap. The animal had also seen me but I didn't raise my camera while it was looking at me lest that frightens the animal and it runs away. But i needed to hurry up also because there was a risk of other safarist coming in after seeing my jeep stopped at that point. That would have made the animal run away for sure.
The animal looked up at me once again and then straightened its head a bit looking in the distant. At that point I clicked him.
The Camera I used for this shot was an EOS 50D with EF 70-300 L Lens. Post processing was done with Canon DPP with little north-south cropping & a little brightness increase.
Presently I use EOS 5D Mark IV.
