This was taken with my first digital camera I bought, back in 2006, the Nikon D80 with a 18-135mm f3.5 lens. Loved it, and used it for many years. Today I still use Nikon, the mirrorless Z6_II
And this photo of the Cathedral and the Leaning tower, was taken in late October 2008, on an Italian roadtrip I had with my son in Tuscany.
Landed in Pisa and the first afternoon we had these fun clouds and a sun that just was setting behind me with an amazing light on the marble buildings.

Used a tripod, waited for some tourist to move away. I wanted to show the Piazza with the size of the church, and how much the tower was leaning compared to it.

I originally edited this in Apple's Aperture, later I moved all my photos into LrC. I loved Aperture, but Lr edits made my photos look as I wanted them to. Basic edit with some sharpening, and I have cloned in three more cypress trees down in the right corner in PS, a few years back, to give a little more space on the right side of the tower.
