While traveling in New England, I had a picture in my mind of a lighthouse on a rocky coast with a sunset behind it. I was lucky enough to find a perfect subject in Portland, Maine. Although all I had with me was my iPhone, I couldn't pass up on the opportunity to capture the moment. This shot was particularly challenging because of the bright highlights in the sunset and the deep shadows on the right side of the lighthouse.

A pretty nice photo with good colors, but I think it would have benefited from a wider aspect ratio.

Definitely! Another thing, a long exposure would look great as well, it would make the water look much more glassy and smooth. Not sure if it's possible on iPhone, but having a camera next time would definitely help.
