Taken just outside Austin, Texas. I was at my daughter's house with my camera, desperate for something to shoot. So, I took this very foggy day shot of her back yard. I was totally at a loss as to what to do with it, even though I did see something in it. I let it sit for a year before I revisited it. That's very common for me to do.

That's when I saw the blue of that dying hammock. Using ACDSee Ultimate, I desaturated the image and re saturated. the hammock.

I love the sense of foreboding, the "otherness" of the fog, and then, the surprising blue of that hammock.
