This piece was created by layering multiple photographs of the same location, each captured from a different angle. I approached it with several intentions in mind. The original scene felt quite ordinary and cluttered with visual distractions, so I wanted to reimagine it through compositional editing. By blending perspectives, I aimed to transform a mundane place into a visually compelling image and explore the creative possibilities of photographic layering.

I'm a bit surprised at the score here. I think this is a very interesting photo that is quite pleasing to look at. It often feels like folks on fstoppers don't value art, and instead prefer boring images, that are razor sharp with true to life colors. It is the difference between capturing the feeling of a place and the reality of it.
I appreciate what you're saying but something feels not right with this image. Sometimes I think there's a fine line between a mistake and an intentional work of art. I hope that my photography is perceived as the latter. And this is one of those where I'm looking at my eyeglasses, thinking something is wrong with them, or wondering if I need to get an eye exam. I really do appreciate camera movement and motion, but I think I still prefer something that anchors the picture... something which captures motion through multiple exposures combined with a few lines in the image which appear stationary... if that makes sense.
Ya totally see where you are coming from. I guess it is personal preference. I really like abstract work and find this hits the spot for me.
