I was shooting on a rainy evening in San Francisco, through a pane of glass that serves as a partition for the entrance to the transit system. The glass sits outside, so it’s always covered with raindrops on rainy days. I usually focus on the raindrops on the glass, but in this shot, I decided to let the whole image go out of focus, and I was pleased with the abstract effect it created.
