This is a ballet dancer who was performing outdoors on a temporary stage put up on a closed street in San Francisco. It was shot during the pandemic, the only time I have seen ballet performed in street artist style. The ballet troupe was commissioned by a restaurant to gin up business. The light was amazing. It was late in the day, so the sun was low and lined up down the middle of the street. The dancer was brilliantly lit while the people watching were in deep shadow. Gear: Olympus EM1 Mk11 with 40-150 (80-300 full frame equivalent) zoom. With that much light, I was able to shoot at high shutter speed, and I used tracking focus to follow the jump.
