This is the Siesta Key beach at dusk on October 11, 2012 at 6:47 PM. I took this with a Sony a100 camera, but the lens info was not saved. Other details: f/9, 1/320th second, ISO was 100, 45 mm focal length.
I did a little modification in PS to bring out the blues in the sky, and to make what was the harsh orange sun easier to look at, and a little cropping.

Nice image! I would retouch this to straighten the horizon though :)
i did not even notice. And I thought I was a nitpicker. Actually the shoreline in front goes one way, and the horizon in the back goes the other, so it would end up being a trade off.

Love the colors! I find it hard to take pictures of sunsets without making them look too crispy or too blown out. This is a beautiful example.
