The prompt of "the Great Outdoors" is exactly the feeling I get when thinking back on this photo. This is not my typical color grading or aspect ratio that I would choose when processing, but it really spoke to me for this image. It is a self-portrait on the hike to Avalanche Lake in Glacier National Park, and was taken just seconds before taking a tumble into the water beneath the branches lol. Is it the most technically perfect image? No. Do I know how to pose myself for a photo? No. But it brings me joy and inspires the feeling of exploring and getting outside. Shot on Sony A7R V with Tamron 35-150mm.
