This image was shot when skiing in Japan with skier Piers Solomon. We were heading to this general zone, and saw this line from the bottom before we hiked up.

We talked about where we wanted the turn and I went down before Piers. Once I was ready, I radioed him and he dropped in, and hit the turn exactly on the mark we discussed. This was shot with all natural light and we had high clouds moving quickly so we needed to time it out so the sun was on the feature and not in shade.
