This was taken during a hiking elopement in Banff National Park during the fall season, to enjoy the golden hues of the larch trees splashed across the landscape. These two had an intimate ceremony by the lake with their closest family and friends before hiking up into the alpine to continue the adventure. The challenge with outdoor elopements is balancing the forever changing light, how comfortable the couple are with the temperatures and for us, ensuring that we really capture the sense of place that surrounds their love story with very intentional image composition.
