Nikon Z50ii, Nikkor Z DX 50-250mm f/4.5-6.3. Taken at 50mm at 1/400 sec, f 6.3, ISO 100. I wanted to get close to limit the depth of field, and needed a moment without flies. I was a little concerned about how the cow might react because I was very close.

The back story: During Covid, in the very beginning, when everyone was afraid to be around other people, my wife and I used to take a picnic lunch, and drive out to this farm in Massachusetts to visit our friends, the cows. As time went by, we made regular trips out to visit them, and continue to this day. My wife took a lot of photos over the years with her iPhone. Today, I decided to bring my new camera along (I am an absolute beginner) and got this picture. I think it turned out great. I hope you agree.
