This is a single frame of the Cape Hatteras Lighthouse taken in February 2023. I spent a couple hours photographing the lighthouse during a short vacation. I ended up making a short time blend that you can see on my profile if you are interested. However, this image is just a single frame from towards the end of my session. There was just something about this image that I liked on it's own. I think it's the faint beam coming from the lighthouse that you can just barely make out.
This was shot on my Sony a7iii with a 12-24 gmaster. Like I said above this is just 1 image no exposure blending at all. Shot at 12mm and f/2.8 iso 1250. It was taken at 7:16pm probably close to an hour after sunset but not quite full dark. There was still a glow on the horizon but some stars were starting to show up. Almost all of the editing was done in lightroom with basic adjustments, masking and color grading. Then I used Radiant Photo, Elia's software, to finish off the photo and add some contrast. I also cropped out quite a bit of the foreground giving it an almost panorama look which I also like.

Amazing quality of light for a single shot
