When shooting outdoors, capturing a perfect reflection requires complete lack of wind to disturb the perfect mirror of the water. Such were the conditions during this dawn capture in a Glebcoe Lochen as a lone duck swan by. In Scotland in the Spring and Summer, still air is accompanied by billions of tiny biting midges. This makes leisurely composing and shooting a test of endurance. If you have ever been attacked by a cloud of midges, you will know what I mean.
