Sunset at El Chaltén (Argentina). This is a HDR of three photos to capture the whole range in that beautiful and cold sunset.
This is the easiest lookout point to photograph the Fitz Roy peak, so you may have seen dozens of photos like this. Still, what matters here is more important than the photo itself: it is the whole experience of travelling to that remote destination, getting to the spot, resisting the harsh wheather and just enjoying the spectacle of nature. I took this photo during a freezing autumn sunset in 2023.
In postprocess I increased the yellow saturation to emphasize that look of a burning sky and some other basic adjustements in contrast, saturation and sharpening.
