Gaia is a 13+ ft Female Shark.
I was on a 3 day Cinema Science Expedition in Bimini Bahamas.
Shot about 30ft underwater.
Basic White balance Correction along with my typical underwater adjustments.
Nikon Z8 with a 16-30 f/4 in an Ikelite housing.

Hi Tim, this isn't bad, a pretty good start. You might want to add strobes, make sure your close very close, you should be able to reach out and almost touch your subject when you are shooting underwater. It looks like you cropped in a bit and pushed the file to far, you can see degradation especially in the water and around the shark. Again great scene, just needs a little work.

Its not cropped at all. I was primarily filming. I am also not a huge fan of strobes underwater. I just dont like lighting sharks from underneath. This was shot at 21mm so she was close. Again, I understand what everyone says you're supposed to do, ultra wide, super close, etc. I like how I shoot underwater. After all its my wall its on. 😉
The degradation is most likely since I uploaded off my phone. I should have from my computer.

Also i have a $hit Ikelite housing 😆 🤣. Shootin through acrylic is definitely not the same as glass. Your work is dope my man!
