Reprieves from the bitter cold came in short bursts, fifty feet up the side of the rock wall, where I had ascended to attached to a static line. My 11 y.o. son steadily, smoothly climbed up parallel to my line, while my heart raced, fingers froze, and nerves quivered. I got this shot at Cherokee Rock Village in Sand Rock, Alabama, with my 5DM4, with minimal processing, and a slight crop.
