This place is known as "El Nevado de Toluca". It is a no-active volcano in Mexico state that my husband and I visited to document a marriage proposal. It was very difficult for me because you have to climb the mountain up, and then, get down to the lake right in the middle of the crater. It was freezing, I don't like cold. I am not a sport person, and carrying my gear bag, wearing sneakers instead of boots, and at the same time documenting the couple having fun, was a big challenge for me. I took this picture from the top of the mountain. I couldn't believe the view and the people getting down so easily. I am an acrophobic person, and getting down from the mountain trying not to fall down without any safety equipment was too much for me. Would I do it again? Not sure :D But the view was breathtaking. For sure, one of the most challenging adventures for me as a photographer. I had everything against me and I still loved the end result.
