I was attending a competition at the Palm Springs Surf Club in California. The place had this killer vibe that to me was notalgic because it is located at the former water park I went to as a kid. It has long gone out of business but found new life with the surf pool that has been constructed there. Great music, hot weather, a lazy river, and even a few of the original water slides restored and operating again, I wanted to capture the vibe.

I waited for the moment and the stars aligned.
