"The Sentinel" growing out of bounds.

Blending two photographs, "The Sentinel" photographed in the Steens Mountain Wilderness area in southeast Oregon and the other photo taken my my living room wall where the original photo is hanging.

The blending required about 40 hours working with a six pixel brush.

This is the method called Out of Bounds photography

Excellent creativity. Great concept. Almost nailed it too! The Tree on the brick just looks slightly TOO cut out. Just gotta keep working at that part. But otherwise really fantastic concept and follow-through

Thank you Brad. Perhaps I should have chosen a white wall?

This is a tough one. Love the concept. It's as if I see a welcoming hint of sepia tone in the picture. In keeping up with the drop shadow of the canvas, I would love to see a drop shadow of the tree; but the intricate branch pattern of the tree might be a limiting factor in this regard. Perhaps an initial simplified tree branching pattern could be considered.

Thank you. In hindsight I wonder if using a white wall would lend to the drop shadow, instead of a colored wall.

This is the wall the original photo is hanging on, so moving it didn't cross my mind.
