This image is called "Secret Fishing Hole" and is part of my Living Large series, in which 1/64-scale miniature figures are juxtaposed with one or more life-size objects to create a whimsical scene. When I come up with an idea for a scene, I then have to find miniature figures that fit the idea (which can sometimes take weeks to arrive once purchased), and make or add other props as needed for the composition. I then compose and light the scene in a way that tells the story, photographically.
