JOHN - MY HUSBAND OF 45 YRS, ALMOST 80
I have made sure to keep the original, but I've done this photograph the way you can see here. I've also done it in monochrome.
YOU'VE BEEN WARNED ABOUT PLACES LIKE THIS.
I passed this place on my way to an appointment yesterday, and I just knew I wanted to photograph it on my way home. That's precisely what I did.
Valle de Pineta — Three Images from Ordesa y Monte Perdido
Three images from a day in the Valle de Pineta, Ordesa y Monte Perdido National Park, Huesca.
Not quite sure of which one
I know it's just variations on a theme. But thoughts on which one is better than another? Maybe I'm just overthinking?

Beautifully taken, Don! Love the space all around the center horizon line. Nice work!
Thanks Photo Girl!
A lovely, restful scene. The low sun is perfect, lighting the sails and, in one case, light coming through the sail, which I love. I don't know if it is permitted to offer a gentle suggestion, so I'll do it and delete it if it's out of line: If I had made it, I would crop a teensy bit from the right to crop out the red-sailed boat. I'd grab it in the upper-right corner and move it down just a scoche. That keeps the proportions right but hides the slightly distracting red boat.
This is beautiful, Don! So peaceful. I love all the shades of blue.
Nicely balanced shot Don - you have told the story well!
Beautiful picture really eye catching
Thanks Dianna!
Beautiful. Reminds me of home even though I didn't appreciate the beauty around me as I was too busy watching my back 24/7. I missed so much of the beauty around me but now I defintely don't. Through the work of others and my own.
