Full Flaps - Great Egret

This Great Egret was photographed landing at a nearby estuary that annually has many migratory birds passing through. This day there were several of these magnificent birds dropping in. They are a lot of fun to watch and photograph.
This is a re-edit from scratch of a contest entry submitted here. I hope this is better received. I do find myself trying to learn how to edit my images better which in turn makes me want to become a better photographer by getting more correct in camera!
