One day I decided to do a mommy & me portrait with my son. While going through his closet to pick out an outfit, it occurred to me that I wanted to capture a more accurate depiction of our daily life together.
I shot this in many takes using a tripod and remote. I photographed each of the elements in the image separately and added them into the final image. While the overhead kitchen light was on, I also used a speedlight through an umbrella off to the side, camera left.
