On a promotional shoot for this Las Vegas entertainer I took advantage of a location I had previously shot at for a series of lifestyle portraits. This site is an abandoned mine which has turned into a photo-friendly tourist attraction just south of Las Vegas. This shot takes advantage of shade from a tree in afternoon light to give a soft effect on the skin. The compression and fall off from the Nikon 105 DC lens separates her from the colorful background.
