Model Phoenix wearing beaded bridal gown on dry lake south of Las Vegas NV at sunset. I borrowed the gown from one of my fashion clients to bring to this shoot. We shot various other outfits earlier in the day and ended with this gown shot.
I started out on this gown in natural light. As the ambient faded I pulled out my Profoto 7b and large softbox for shot. The main light on her is from the soft box balanced to the setting sun in the distance.
The file in color is also nice, but I like this black and white conversion from Silver Efex. Shot with Nikon D810 and 60mm Micro-Nikkor. I don't typically shoot with the 60mm Micro on location shoots, but as I was traveling for a couple of different assignments, I needed the Micro for a still-life shot on another day and left the 55mm Zeiss at home which I would have likely used for this shot.
