I used the time I spent volunteering with the theater restoration project to help plan this fashion shoot. I had always been drawn to this antiquated 1930s era lighting control panel as a potential background for a shot. It's almost comically large sized switch handles and controls and vintage elements are a nice contrast to the white gown.
The lighting control panel is no longer used for the theater lighting which is now computer controlled, but it is still has power for some accessory uses and has the original low level work lights which I balanced my exposure to capture
