Bridal Fantasy: River Wall

Another in my bridal fashion fantasy series combining a studio model shot with an image library background. The NYC fashion model was shot wearing a gown from one of my bridal fashion clients in my studio against a black wall. Lighting was from Profoto strobe into Chimera Beauty Dish from above camera right. This was one shoot where the intended outcome was a composite image. In this case I knew that the background was dark and had a subtle light from above. While that set the stage for the general lighting effect, However, I didn't want to be so locked into an angle of lighting that I couldn't create attractive lighting on this beautiful model and high-end gown. I did not use any reflectors on this shot to keep the shadows richer and match the mood of the pre-existing background image.
