This weekend, we ventured out to the beautiful area of Mazaricos, where I captured this shot of the Fervenza de Santa Leocadia. The river was flowing with immense strength, making it challenging to find a spot for the composition—even with tall waterproof boots, the current was relentless.
After some exploring, I found this small pool of water, separated from the main river by a moss-covered rock adorned with autumn leaves left behind by the season.
One of the features that has always fascinated me about this waterfall is the pair of trees growing on either side of the main cascade. They cross at the top, forming a natural X-shape, creating a frame that feels both chaotic and harmonious. The mist from the cascade added a touch of drama to the scene, emphasizing the twisted forms of the trees.
