This past weekend, I managed to escape into the forest, hoping to find some of the last autumn mushrooms before the season ends. While exploring, I came across this strange and fascinating fungus with tubular shapes underneath, many of which ended in sharp tips. Its unique structure immediately caught my attention, and I knew I wanted to give it a magical, fantasy-like atmosphere, as I often try to do in my macro photography.
It was also another great opportunity to field-test the Irix 150mm F2.8 Macro Dragonfly lens. Once again, it exceeded my expectations with its outstanding performance and image quality.
Additionally, I experimented with a new Ulanzi lighting setup I recently acquired, which helped shape the final mood and highlights in the shot.
