Today's photo comes from my recent trip to Canóns do Sil earlier this month, featuring the cold Fervenza de Santo Estevo.
For this shot, I wanted to include the small cascade in the foreground to guide the viewer’s eye toward the main waterfall in the back. Interestingly, even though there’s a large branch cutting across the main cascade, I feel it doesn’t take away from the scene's overall impact. If anything, it adds a more “wild” and “untamed” vibe to the composition, enhancing its natural feel.
These are some of the last autumn scenes I’ll be sharing, as winter is approaching, and the landscapes will soon transform!
