So a few months ago I wrote about how much I love my Squarespace account, and you would not believe the overwhelming chorus of "Me too!" I experienced in the comments, on Facebook and on Twitter. I'm happy to see that I wasn't alone in my adoration for the website company. As easy as it is to set up my photo site on Squarespace, it might be even easier to add eCommerce to it. If you want to sell product, including prints, you can manage it all from Squarespace extremely easily.

Ben was able to do this using PocketWizard hypersync and was kind enough to document the shoot to show us exactly how he did it.

I wouldn’t be surprised if many of you have never heard of Nations Photo Lab. They certainly aren’t as big as some of the other print house powerhouses in the industry, but in a way I’m glad they aren’t that huge. I can appreciate them, and while working with them I got the feeling I was appreciated. What really matters, though, is price and quality of the product. Nations didn’t let me down.

About two years ago, Chimera showed us the first collapsible beauty dish at WPPI, something that promised to make traveling with the bulky, often heavy modifier a lot easier. However, with a price point of $230, it was a bit pricey for many. In the past few days, Phottix has released their version of the collapsable beauty dish. It has several distinctly different features that separate it from the Chimera version, but there is one thing that will stand out: the price is only $75.

Remember the huge brouhaha surrounding Olympus back in late 2011? The former presidents of the company Masatoshi Kishimoto and Toshiro Shimoyama as well as the chairman Tsuyoshi Kikukawa and a few other execs were found to be lying about massive losses the company sustained, about $1.7 billion in discrepancies. They were finally ruled against, but no one is serving any jail time. Weak.

If there is one lens manufacturer whose heritage exudes excellence, it’s Zeiss. They are the Ferrari, the Lamborghini of camera optical glass and with that reputation comes their, usually, extremely high price. And much like a Lamborghini, the Zeiss is a no-frills powerhouse that does one well-designed thing: as the Lamborghini is fast, the Zeiss is sharp. We at Fstoppers often talk about Instagram with a note of positivity, but not everyone tends to agree that Instagram is a "cool" thing or worthy anyone's time. In fact, many comments on those articles seem to be saturated in what appears to be a deep-seated hatred. But do we really hate Instagram, or do we hate something that we can only express by hating Instagram? I think it’s the latter, and here’s why.

Though I appreciate the spirit of this commercial put together by Samsung, I'm not sure I'm fully on board with their test environment (comparing image quality from an LCD or even a tablet isn't really a comparison). However, it does show the kind of people that camera companies are advertising to. Often pros are baffled by some of the products that hit the market. There isn't as much money in appealing to pros, but rather to the often totally ignorant consumer.

When I first saw this video, my jaw was hanging open. This new dynamic target tracking camera is absolutely outstanding, capable of following extremely fast moving objects as well as able to project images on fast moving objects. It's something out of science fiction, and I love it.

Samsung just announced what looks to be a really great new ILC: The Galaxy NX, a camera enabled with 3G/4G capabilities. It's not a phone, but a camera that can always be connected to the internet. I may have been hard on Samsung in a recent article on their Galaxy S4 Zoom, but this new product is one I can really get behind.
