This shot was taken during my vacation to Greece, I didn't have a tripod with me nor any lenses that could capture this scene in one shot. So, I decided to take the shot handheld while asking my dad to be a model in the middle. I would've loved to take this shot during sunset but unfortunately the area closes before then.

I'd prefer it if the view was tilted a little upward,
and it isn't quite centered and that's a shame...
Could you have moved to the right? It seems like you weren't centered.
But overall, great photo!
You're right, I was slightly to the left of the center because of an ugly staircase that would become visible otherwise. So I felt that this position would be the best given the circumstances. You could be right about tilting upwards, I might try something photoshop to see if that would be better.
