Death Valley sunrise. Could be my favorite sunrise of all time!
Got to the Sand dunes at night and met a cool photographer down from Canada. He suggested coming back to shoot the Milky Way at 2am, but I over slept. Made it back after 4am and hiked out alone for sunrise while my girlfriend slept in the truck.
Eerily peaceful and quiet as I hiked all around. As the sun broke the mountains, I saw this stranger below. Good timing and a memorable morning!
