Encountered this patch of Joshua Trees while driving through Death Valley National Park. There was low fog covering the landscape but I happened upon these right before the dense fog completely covered them. This is an event not often encountered in the desert so I knew it was a unique opportunity to encounter this sense of stillness in a usually harsh environment. I feel it has some parallels to our current global situation.
