Fire Dragon Off The Oregon Coast

I saw multiple kites of various types flying in the stiff breeze and when I saw the Dragon kite I knew what composition I was looking for.

For Art sake, I increased the hue slider a touch, removed sensor spots, and adjusted the horizon to get an Art feel to the photograph.

As the title stated this was taken on the Oregon Coast on October 3rd, 2015.

My challenges were getting the composition to isolate the single kite from the myriad of others and avoid lens flare from photographing directly into the Sun. This required moving around and adjusting focal length quite often.

For this photograph I was using my Canon EOS T3 (EOS 1100D/Kiss X50) with the EF 75-300mm f/4.5-6 III kit lens. My camera settings required for this shot were f/5.6 ~ 1/1250 sec. ~ ISO 100 ~ 110mm

Currently I shoot with my EOS R5 and EOS R as a second camera. I also use my original Minolta SR-T201 (version 1) from 1976 when I feel like shooting film.

Dont forget your camera info if you want to be considered .. contest rules.. Nice photo , I would hate to see you lose out for a simple oversight

I list the camera

"Canon EOS T3 (EOS 1100D/Kiss X50) with the EF 75-300mm f/4.5-6 III kit lens. My camera settings required for this shot were f/5.6 ~ 1/1250 sec. ~ ISO 100 ~ 110mm"

as well as my newer cameras,

"Currently I shoot with my EOS R5 and EOS R"

What else am I missing?

Also, thank you very kindly.

uummmm I did not click the button that showed me the rest of your info before I sent the message. I felt like an idiot. I deleted my message hoping to intervene before you discovered my being an idiot. Seems I did not act in time. Sorry ! ...

No worries. After I posted a reply I noticed the <more> as well.
