Shot this one this week from my Kayak. Typically, turtles are pretty skittish and don't let you get close enough to get close, but this Northern Map Turtle was shockingly curious. I paddled up to the end of this log that was half in the water and he started walking towards me. I had the 1.7x TC on my 500mm so was shooting at 850mm. I am super stoked about how it turned out.
