This is my wife running up a narrow path towards the Nugget Point Lighthouse on the South Island of New Zealand with her iPhone flashlight held up high to create a light trail. The path is pitch black, full of bulging roots coming up from the ground along with numerous other perilous obstacles - like a 100 metre plunge to the ocean below - all complete with a steep uphill grade for good measure. In keeping with the contest theme; she just couldn’t stop talking about how “clever” she thought this was and was thrilled, if not honoured, to be even a small part of my artistic pursuit... ; )

Great shot - glad you didn't lose the wife!

Love that long exposure with the light trail. Brilliant idea to highlight the trail using the phone. Fantastic. The sky could use a little work to really pull that core out, but it's definitely not terrible at all! Very defined. Some interesting light near the horizon that I like too!
