The first time I was ever hired to shoot pro wrestling I had no clue what I was doing. I tried to capture everything and ended up catching next to nothing. I reverted back to trusting my eye in these moments, and while it's certainly not the cleanest shot I've taken in my life, seeing this choke hold through the legs of the referee evokes an energy and nostalgia for my childhood watching the greats on TV. Shot on a Canon 5D Mark iv, with the least ambient light I've ever seen in my life, at 42mm on a rented lens, and a handful of prayers.

Unusual to see it through the legs of the ref. Nice catch!
