Photographed with a REAL Mayan skull

I had this idea for a long time, unsure how to execute it without compositing - after some experimentation I broke a mirror and set up two broncolor lights at my friend's studio.

It took a lot of finessing to get the model, Maria, to look into camera and then get the mirror to show the backdrop properly - but in the end the photo ended up almost exactly how I wanted it to work!

Fun fact - I tried to shoot this on film, too, but I loaded the film backwards. Whoops!
