Curve Sentinels

I used the pull-out to park and get this image. I was amazed that the engineers didn't insist in the destruction of these rock formations considering their proximity to the road, although, a signature from a licensed geologist on their report would probably suffice in leaving them for us to marvel at!
This can be found along the Sky Island Scenic Byway just outside Tucson, leading up Mount Lemmon, the highest peak in the Catalina Mountain Range at 9,171 ft, (2795.3 meters).
