A friend of mine and I had been backpacking in Canyonlands, Utah. It had rained very heavily the night before this. My friend had decided to sleep on the ground, and since we were now adjacent to my truck, I set up a cot so I was up off the ground. Mark was making big fun of me asking if I thought Lewis and Clark had used a cot? Nope, they didn't, but I was also dry at 2:00 AM and Mark was soaked, and in a wet sleeping bag. After this photograph we broke camp and drove home.
I used a Toyo 45A camera, Schneider 47XL. lens with a #15 Dark Yellow filter. Kodak T-Max 100 film.
